Shaughnesy Postell, PTA, resides in Waynesville, NC with her husband and two kids. Undergrad degree, BS, at UNCG in Exercise and Sports Science and attended South College Asheville for Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been in practice since May 2011 with Southeastern Physical Therapy and specializes in orthotics, kinesio tape and post operative care of all orthopaedic conditions. She enjoys attending Tuscola Football games where her husband is a coach and being a mom to Ella Grace and Braydon.
Travis Routh, PT, DPT

Travis Routh PT, DPT, earned his undergrad degree in Exercise Science from High Point University in High Point, NC. Following graduation, Travis then earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Western Carolina University in 2015. With a primary interest in orthopedics, Travis has taken continuing education courses for management of orthopedic conditions including lower back pain, upper and lower extremity disorders, sports specific training, and manual therapy approaches.

Steve Manfred, PT, MHA has lived in Asheville for 30 years. He is a 1996 graduate of the Winston-Salem State University Physical Therapy program. He also has a Masters in Hospital Administration degree from Duke University in 1980, previously working in that field and rehab administration for 14 years, and a Biology degree from Colgate University. He has extensive clinical rehab experience in several settings — primarily in outpatient orthopedic, but also hospital acute inpatient, long-term care and home health care. He treats the full range of orthopedic conditions, surgeries and injuries, but specializes in care for shoulder, low back, and joint replacements.

John Morris, PT, DPT
Physical Therapist


John Morris, PT, DPT was born and raised in Asheville, NC before attending Western Carolina University for his doctoral degree in physical therapy in 2018. John completed an intensive orthopedic residency in Johnson City, TN, for a year where he specialized in chronic pain and all orthopedic conditions in a VA population while teaching physical therapy classes at ETSU in their doctoral level program. Currently living in Waynesville, John is working towards his orthopedic clinical specialty and enjoys backpacking, 60s and 70s music, soccer and fly fishing in his spare time.
